Design a city logo from any where in the world that encapsulates the city’s culture or background.
I designed many ideas with Zanzibar’s culture and environment in mind. I bounced around from emblems relating to the city to flora and fauna. I finally landed on the Red Colobus Monkey because I wanted to represent an endangered species, and I’ve never seen one before and thought they were so cool!

This logo was inspired by the city Zanzibar, Tanzania located off the coast of East Africa. The logo displays the Red Colobus Monkey, an endangered animal of the island I wanted to design as an ambassador for their wildlife. The logo encompasses warm tones related to the city and its environment as well as a sun presented in the background.
